If you’re an administrator and you’ve added a strength by mistake or want to clear out the profile of a demo user, you can turn on the Delete Strengths permission. You can delete strengths from your own profile or from the profile of any other user.
Note: We don’t recommend turning on this permission for regular users. They can always archive strengths to hide them from their profile.
Step 1. Turn on the permission
- Click the gear icon on the top right of your screen.
- Click Security Profiles in the Administration menu.
- Click the shield icon beside a security profile name.
- Click Profile in the side menu.
- Select the Delete Strengths permission.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to click Save.
Step 2. Delete strengths
Keep in mind that deleting a strength lowers the user’s profile completion and job match score. Deleted strengths cannot be restored.
- Navigate to Team or to Organization > People
- Click an employee’s name and click the Profile button.
- Click a strength to expand and click Delete.
- Click Delete to confirm.
If you’ve deleted all strengths but the profile completion score is higher than expected, some strengths might be archived. Administrators and managers cannot access the archived strengths of other users. That user needs to restore archived strengths in order for the administrator or manager to delete.
