How does scoring authority work?

Learn whose rating has the final say for self, 180˚, Manager-only, and 360˚ assessments

Scoring authority is assigned to a participant group to determine whose rating has the final say. Their rating determines whether each competency is listed as a strength or as a competency for development in the assessment results.

  • Self-assessments: The subject is the scoring authority.
  • 180˚ and Manager-only: The manager is the scoring authority.
  • 360˚: The dispatcher selects the scoring authority. If they selected more than one group, the average of each group’s rating is determined and then we calculate the average rating of all the selected participant groups.
